Speech Analytics
I lead the development and implementation of a speech analytics project utilizing disciplined agile methodolgy for the largest contact center in Mexico. Our AI driven solution is used to ensure quality effectiveness for all contacts in all channels. I was responsible for understanding all of the customers’ requirements, researching available solutions, and designing the cloud and systems architecture. I was the lead solutions architect, software developer, and sysops administrator for this project. As a result of this work, our company now has a sustainable new SaaS product.

I was the Disciplined Agile project lead for the development of the Caperio AI Performance Platform (caperio.ai). A fully customizable, AI driven, Speech Analytics & Quality Assurance Software-as-a-Service platform for automating 100% of customer interactions for all contact channels.

I am the founder of a Bossa Nova Data Solutions, LLC. A company that specializes in Artificial Intelligence solutions including Automatic Speech Recognition, Natural Language Processing, and supervised Machine Learning predictive analytics solutions. Our companies client list includes top creditors and contact centes in Latin America.
AWS Cloud Services
My AWS certifications include: Cloud Practitioner, Solutions Architect (Associate and Professional), SysOps Administrator Associate, Developer Associate. I have significant experience utilizing: IAM, Organizations, EC2, S3, Lambda, Cloudwatch, Transcribe, Sagemaker, Lightsail, VPC, etc.
Solution Architecture
I am responsible for all technology related architecture including hardware, software, networking, cloud design, development, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure for all of Bossa Nova's technology stack.
Process Automation
I have over ten years Robotic Process Automation experience creating scripts to automate process flows between decoupled microservices utilizing Microsoft Power Automate (Winautomation)
Programming
I have excellent programming and script writing skills. I was responsible for all the source code for Caperio AI platform. I am highly proficient in STATA, a statistical analysis software package. I am proficient in Python, and have basic level skills in SQL, and Powershell.
Credit Risk Management
I worked eleven years for American Express, two in Corporate Audit and nine in Risk Management. I was responsible for Collections for all international markets for several years. Additionally I was responsible for all credit processes in Latin America for two years, including New Product Development, Authorizations, Credit, and Collections. I managed a team of risk managers, programmers, and data scientists. I have provided Risk Management consulting to contact centers in Latin America.
Information Technology
I am an international IT services entrepreneur and corporate executive. I am the founder of a company that provides IT solutions to creditors and contact centers in Latin America. Our tech stack includes predictive analytics, SaaS, RPA, Speech Analytics, AI, and other technology related solutions.

I am the lead executive responsible for meeting our customers requirements for various technnology related solutions in the contact center and financial services industries. These solutions include, but are not limited to; consulting, customized predictive analytics, RPA, Speech Analytics, and software development.

I am experienced in data exploration, manipulation, and analysis utilizing statistical analysis software and machine learning environments.

In 2006 I founded Bossa Nova Data Solutions, LLC. This company was founded with a minimal capital investment and has grown successfully over the last fifteen years. Bossa Nova Data Solutions provides our clients with AI and Machine Learning solutions that helps them improve their operations, develop new products and services, and provide better customer service at a lower cost.
Predictive Analytics
I have over eighteen years experience working with predictive analytics in the credit risk management space. While at American Express, I oversaw the development and implementation of collections models that lead to significant profit improvements. At Bossa Nova, we have developed hundreds of customized predictive analytic solutions for dozens of clients helping them collect more money quicker and with less operational expenses.
Doing Business in Latin America
I have over twenty-five years experience conducting business in Latin America with particular focus on Mexico and Brazil. I worked, as an intern, for Coca-Cola in Mexico City. I travelled extensively to Mexico, Argentina, and Brazil while working for American Express and Bossa Nova. I am currently living in Brazil since 2010.
Multilingual
I love learning languages and diverse cultures. I am a native English speaker. I am professionally fluent in Spanish and Portuguese. I am interested in Italian and can understand it quite well. I lived as a foreign exchange student in Spain, and an intern in Mexico. I was fluent in Russian, but unfortunately, am no longer proficient in that language.
International Business
I have lived abroad as a student and professional. I have always had positions with global or regional responsibilities. I traveled and worked extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and Latin America. I am very comfortable working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, socio-economic classes, and cultures.
